A Local Company That Knows Ontario Weather

Experience matters most when working with Ontario buildings and changing weather. With decades of hands on work, we understand how Lincoln homes age, how materials react to temperature swings from -20°C winter lows to 30°C summer highs, and how structural integrity must be protected during every installation.

Our window installers explain options clearly. We help homeowners compare vinyl windows, full frame windows, energy-efficient glass types, and different styles that fit both function and aesthetic appeal. Advice stays practical and helpful. Recommendations are based on your house, your exposure to wind and heat, and real performance needs, not a sales script.

Thinking About Replacing Windows In Lincoln

Replacing old windows starts with understanding what you have now. Old windows with single pane glass, rotting wood, or failing locks often allow heat loss and drafts. Existing frames can warp over time, affecting both comfort and security.

Upgrading to new windows with energy efficient glass can lower energy bills and improve comfort quickly. We replace many window styles, including:

      • Casement windows
      • Bay and bow windows
      • Awning windows
      • Sliding tilt windows
      • Double hung tilt windows

Each style offers different benefits depending on room layout, exterior appearance, and ventilation needs.

Windows And Doors That Work Together

Windows and doors perform best when upgraded together. Along with replacing windows, we install patio doors, entry doors, and front door systems that improve energy efficiency and security.

A properly installed patio door brings in natural light while limiting heat transfer. New entry doors protect against drafts, improve locks, and enhance curb appeal. Together, windows and doors strengthen the home’s exterior and overall performance.

High-Performance Windows Built For Energy Efficiency

Energy efficient windows make a real difference in Lincoln homes where winters bite hard and summers bring heavy heat. Windows replacement in Lincoln helps control indoor comfort, protect against the elements, and reduce monthly energy bills.

Cold winds, humidity, and temperature swings put stress on existing windows and doors. Upgrading windows, patio doors, and entry doors can stabilize indoor temperatures and lower heating and cooling costs over time.

When replacing windows, it pays to slow down and choose wisely. New windows should match the house, work with existing frames when possible, and improve energy efficiency without sacrificing appearance. Our window installers help Lincoln homeowners choose solutions that actually work for Ontario conditions.

Fluctuating weather across Lincoln and nearby communities strains heating systems fast. A failing seal, rotting wood, or worn out frames can let heat escape quietly. Professional window installation seals leaks and restores comfort room by room.

      Energy Efficient Windows Explained Simply

Energy efficient windows are built to keep heat inside during winter and block excess heat during summer. They reduce drafts, protect interiors, and improve comfort across the house year round.

These windows use smart materials and layered glass systems to manage energy flow. That reduces strain on furnaces and air conditioners. Over time, homeowners notice lower energy bills and steadier indoor temperatures.

Not all energy efficient windows perform the same. Energy ratings, glass options, and frame materials matter. Our installation service helps homeowners compare features clearly and choose replacement windows that suit their project.

Frame Materials That Hold Up In Ontario

Strong frames keep windows tight and prevent air leaks from forming. Full frame replacement windows are often recommended when existing frames show damage or shifting.

Vinyl windows are popular across Lincoln for good reason. They offer excellent insulation, low maintenance, and long term durability. Vinyl does not peel, warp, or require paint. Other materials such as fiberglass and wood also work well depending on style and budget. Our installation team explains how each option performs and how it affects long term energy efficiency.

      Multi-Pane Glass That Controls Heat

Double and triple pane glass improves insulation by trapping air or gas between layers. These sealed pockets slow heat transfer and improve indoor comfort.

Each pane is separated by spacers that create insulated chambers. When sealed properly, the glass forms a strong barrier against outdoor temperature changes. Energy efficient glass helps stabilize room temperatures and reduces cold spots near windows. It also helps reduce condensation and improves overall comfort.

Low-E Glass That Still Lets Light In

Low emissivity coatings reflect heat while allowing natural light to pass through. This coating is applied to the glass surface and works quietly year round.

The coating limits ultraviolet and infrared rays without blocking sunshine. Rooms stay bright while heat transfer stays controlled.Combined with multi pane glass, Low E coatings improve energy efficiency without changing the look of the window.

      Window Spacers That Strengthen Insulation

Spacers separate glass layers and help maintain sealed gas pockets. Modern spacers are made from materials that reduce heat transfer.

They support structural integrity and improve window performance. Spacers also help prevent condensation along glass edges. Quality spacers improve longevity and keep replacement windows performing as expected.

Gas Filled Glass For Better Performance

What’s inside your windows matters more than you think. Between the panes of double or triple glass, there’s a clear insulating gas that quietly does the heavy lifting. It blocks heat in the summer and keeps cold out in the winter without changing how your windows look. Argon and krypton gases are most commonly used — they’re non-toxic, colourless, odourless, and highly efficient.

What Does Window Replacement Cost In Lincoln ON?

Window replacement costs in Lincoln depend on several practical factors tied to the house and the scope of work. The price is shaped by window material, style, size, and how complex the installation process becomes. Most homeowners in Lincoln can expect replacement windows to range from $300 to $3,000 or more per window, depending on the project details.

For a complete house upgrade, replacing windows throughout the home usually falls between $10,000 and $30,000. Larger homes, full frame replacement windows, or upgrades that improve energy efficiency may push costs higher. Below are the main factors that influence window replacement pricing in Lincoln.

How Window Materials Shape The Cost

Window frame materials directly affect the upfront cost and long term performance of replacement windows. They also play a major role in durability, insulation, and overall aesthetic appeal. Vinyl windows remain one of the most common choices in Lincoln because they balance cost, low maintenance, and energy efficiency well.

Here is a general breakdown of window replacement costs based on frame materials.

Window Frame Material Average Replacement Cost Per Window
      Vinyl windows $300 to $1,000
      Wooden windows $800 to $3,000
      Composite windows $800 to $2,800
      Fiberglass windows $700 to $2,500
      Aluminum windows $500 to $1,500

Vinyl windows are especially popular for homeowners looking to upgrade windows without constant upkeep. Wood and composite options offer a more traditional look but usually require higher investment and ongoing care.

      How Window Styles Affect Pricing

Window style also plays a major role in the total cost of replacing windows in Lincoln, Ontario. Some styles require more materials, specialized glass, or extra labour during window installation. That added complexity can raise the final price.

Bay windows, casement windows, and double hung windows offer functional and visual benefits but typically cost more due to size and structural considerations. Below is a general price range by window style, excluding labour.

Window Style Or Type Average Replacement Cost
Double and single slider windows $400 to $2,400
      Awning windows $500 to $2,600
      Casement windows $300 to $2,200
Picture or fixed windows $150 to $1,200
Bay and bow windows $1,200 to $10,000
Specialty shape windows $500 to $1,300
Single or double hung windows $300 to $2,500

Choosing the right style depends on room layout, ventilation needs, and how the window integrates with the home’s exterior.

Basement Window Replacement Pricing In Lincoln

Basement window replacement costs in Lincoln vary based on size, access, and safety requirements. Standard basement window replacement typically ranges from $380 to $690. Egress window replacement usually costs between $530 and $1,430, depending on excavation and framing needs.

Custom basement windows can range from $850 to over $2,000, especially when structural changes or larger openings are required. These projects often involve full frame windows and additional labour.

Other Factors That Influence Final Cost

Several additional elements affect window replacement pricing in Lincoln. Larger window sizes, complex installs, and full frame replacement windows increase labour and material costs. Projects involving rotting wood or damaged existing frames may also require repairs before installation begins.

Energy efficiency upgrades also impact pricing. ENERGY STAR certified windows and energy efficient glass typically cost more upfront but help reduce energy bills long term.

Are Rebates Available For Window Replacement In Lincoln?

Lincoln homeowners may qualify for incentives through Ontario’s Home Renovation Savings Program. This program supports energy efficient home renovations across the province. Eligible homeowners may receive $600 for an energy assessment, $100 per ENERGY STAR certified window or door, and up to 30 percent back on qualifying energy efficiency upgrades.

Rebate availability depends on current program requirements and the type of windows or doors installed.

I had my roof replaced as well as the skylight in November 2018. I had consulted three other roofing companies in arriving at the decision to contract Niagara RoofMasters. I was impressed with the integrity of the company, best represented in my early consultations with Derek, through to completion of the work to follow up. I had the privilege of seeing work being done by Niagara RoofMasters on the homes of neighbours, as well as the quality of materials etc. I highly recommend the workmanship. All questions were responded to in a timely manner. The job was completed as promised and materials that made their way to the yard were picked up - even to extent of returning a second day just to walk through and ensure the yard was free of garbage or nails as best as possible. Was very pleased with this experience and would recommend!

Niagara roof Masters did a great job on our roof . We were quoted very quickly with a very detailed booklet with the supplies they would be using on the roof. Their quote was very reasonable with local competitors. They answered any questions I had before and after the installation. The staff were hardworking and friendly. I had recently recommend them to my Parents when they needed their roof done and they did a great job there as well. Great work everyone!

Top notch. Right from first contact via phone, to Derreck quoting job. The material and workmanship is excellent. Men are very respectful to property (we have a pool) and listened to any thoughts we had on our new roof. They even caulked an eavestrough that leaked at end cap. Oh yes, thanks guys for carrying my wife's groceries in. Roy and Diane
